Baseball betting lines

Moneyline, run line and totals, with how each one settles. Information only — 4Baseball is not a sportsbook and takes no bets.

Live lines

Multi-sportsbook lines need an API key, which is not configured on this build. Everything below explains how the markets work and applies whether or not a line is showing.

How each market settles

Moneyline

Pick the winner; the price carries the difference. A −150 favourite means a winning stake of 150 returns 100 profit; a +130 underdog means 100 returns 130. Extra innings count — there are no ties to settle around.

Run line

Baseball's spread, and it is almost always ±1.5 runs. The favourite at −1.5 must win by two or more. The underdog at +1.5 covers by winning outright or losing by exactly one — which is why one-run games matter so much to it.

Total (over/under)

Combined runs by both clubs, extra innings included. A total of 8.5 cannot tie; a whole-number total like 9 can land exactly there, and that is a push — stakes returned.

House rules differ and they decide your bet, not this page. Sportsbooks vary on listed-pitcher rules (whether a change of starter voids the bet), on how many innings must be played for a shortened game to have action, and on suspended games. Read your book's baseball rules before staking anything.

21+ where applicable. Betting should be entertainment, never income. If it stops being fun, help is free and confidential: 1-800-GAMBLER, run by the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey and the number carried in most sportsbook advertising, or the National Council on Problem Gambling's national helpline on 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
